The “tells”:

1. They play on their pity. They excuse their bad behavior with excuses.
2. Narcissistic. They believe the world centers around them.
3. Charming and manipulative in crowd. Controlling in private.

What should we do:

1. Watch their behavior, not their words.
2. Get a second opinion.
3. Don’t cover for them.
